Enough

And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
I used to think of this verse in terms of physical needs, such as, food, shelter, and clothing. However, could it be saying more? Could it be saying that my God will give me everything I need, coinciding with his perfect plan for me - everything I need spiritually to fulfill his purposes for my life, which is intended to bring him glory through Christ Jesus? Nothing less. Nothing more.

Do you know that you already have everything you need to make an impact on someone's life? To make a difference in someone's world? To accomplish His purposes for your life right here. right now. today?

You have enough and are enough because He is enough.

    Yes, yes, yes. We are given everything we need, but even then, I struggle...wondering and worrying about the how and when of things.

    I wonder if we are ever really able to let that go...

    I do believe it means all those things, and I know that I too often forget how great He truly is and that He has already thought of everything.

    I appreciate your insight into this verse. I had only thought about it before it terms of the physical; but of course, you are right that God would not neglect our spiritual needs anymore than our physical. Thank you for sharing!
